You can get a DNA test while pregnant that is safe for the mother and the pregnancy with results that are court-admissible—don’t let yourself wait and worry.
Why Do Paternity Testing While Pregnant?
Many are under the impression that a paternity test has to be done once the baby is born, but Test Smartly Labs is proud to be among the only AABB-accredited labs to administer the NIPP DNA test. There are many reasons to find out sooner rather than later if you are unsure of your baby’s paternity.
Uncertainty Causes Stress
Not knowing for certain who the father of your child is can cause a great deal of stress in your life from a myriad of sources. Don’t let it affect your pregnancy or your quality of life, use our safe, non-invasive test to get answers.
Make Decisions Earlier for a Smoother Birth
Whether it is the status of your romantic relationship or just family relationships for your child, it is likely easier to make those choices before the baby is born so that you can bring your child into a settled, uncomplicated situation and not be forced to make stressful decisions while caring for your newborn.
Be Prepared for Legal Issues
Even if you make the choice to not stay in a romantic relationship with the father of your child, he will have certain rights and responsibilities regarding the baby. Get your ducks in a row regarding child support, custody, and more by having court-admissible paternity results.
About Our Non-Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test
Certainty™ is the only AABB-accredited prenatal test you can get, which means our processes meet strict standards for excellence and accountability. Get the results you can trust at Test Smartly Labs. The test can be performed as early as 7 weeks’ gestation and is completely safe for mother and baby.
All we need in terms of DNA-collection is a simple blood sample from the mother and a cheek swab from the potential father. The test analyzes the free-floating fetal DNA from the mother’s plasma and compares it to the mother’s DNA profile to determine the fetus DNA profile, which is then compared to the father’s DNA profile to determine paternity. Certainty™ provides 99.9% probability-of-paternity results or higher for inclusions and 0% probability-of-paternity results for exclusions - exactly the same as a postnatal paternity test provides. This testing cannot be performed if you are pregnant with twins as technology currently prevents us from being able to isolate the free-floating DNA of each fetus.
